## Leaving Tweetsmash? A digest shows the pile. A queue empties it.

Tweetsmash imports X bookmarks, digests them, chats with them, and exports to Notion, Sheets and Zotero, with an API, webhooks and MCP on the yearly plan. Their FAQ says the API sync is the most recent 800, and the extension imports full history, including libraries they describe as 150k and up. If you open the digest and still never act, a cheaper digest is the same job.

Stay if you want the export pipe, several X accounts, or MCP. Look elsewhere if the digest arrives and the pile is the same size afterwards. ZeroMark is the option whose main screen is a count that can reach zero. It has no API and no Zotero sync.

We make ZeroMark. Prices and features below are from each vendor's own site, checked 17 October 2026, and linked in Sources.

### What they do better

Tweetsmash has the deepest export pipe in this lane, MCP and webhooks, more than one X account on the yearly plan, a full-history extension import, a 7-day trial mentioned in their metadata, and a $198 lifetime. If those are the requirements, an alternative that lacks them is not a replacement. Their Reader Pass is $7 a month billed as $84 a year. The Yearly Pass is $99. An export pass is $49 once.

### Where ZeroMark is different

ZeroMark asks you to decide each save, and the open count is allowed to hit zero. The Monday email is optional. It reports what you already decided. It is not the product. $39 a year is under both of Tweetsmash's annual passes.

- A summary on every save before you see it, including the quoted post a reaction is about, plus why you kept it.

- One decision per save: done, let go, or snooze for a week. Undo walks the sitting back. The open queue ends on a Zero card.

- Order comes from your own finish rate: what you mark done against what you let go.

- Keeps can leave for Notion, Obsidian, or a file. Stopping payment does not delete what is already read.

- The X connection is read-only. Triage stays inside ZeroMark. Nothing is posted, liked, followed, or removed on X.

### Where ZeroMark falls short

No API, no MCP, no webhooks, no Zotero, no Sheets sync, no multi-account plan, and no lifetime price. X only. We do not claim a 150k import.

### Switching

- Keep Tweetsmash's Notion export, or buy the $49 export pass, so the archive is yours.

- Connect ZeroMark read-only and clear the latest saves free.

- Notion pushes from keeps here go to your own database. They do not replace Tweetsmash's Zotero pipe.

### Questions people ask

#### What is the cheapest alternative that still digests?

WakeMark's lowest rung was $59 a year. Bulkmark's home page showed no price on 17 October 2026. Their blog in June 2026 said $9 a month. Confirm either before you treat it as cheaper.

#### Which alternative has MCP?

ContextBolt Pro, WakeMark, and Stashr Pro. ZeroMark does not.

#### Can ZeroMark send a digest?

An optional Monday email says what cleared and what is waiting. You can leave it off.

#### Does ZeroMark import full history?

It reads what the X connection returns. It does not claim the extension import Tweetsmash describes.

#### Who has a lifetime plan?

Tweetsmash at $198 and Dewey at $225, on their pages. ZeroMark does not.

#### Can I use both?

Yes. Export and digest there. Decide here.
