vs Talon

## Talon helps you find it again. ZeroMark helps you be done.

Talon's own roundup, reviewed by them on 14 July 2026, describes an X-first research library with semantic search, cited answers, and a calm review queue. That last phrase is the closest wording in the lane to a queue. A research library still exists so you can find the save later. ZeroMark exists so most saves do not need a later.

Pick Talon if you are building a research set you will query. Pick ZeroMark if you want the open count at zero. Talon's price was not on the page we used, so it is Unknown. Do not treat this as a full pricing comparison.

We make ZeroMark. Every fact about Talon below comes from their own site, checked 17 October 2026, and linked in Sources. If we have a fact wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

### What Talon does better

- Semantic search as the main event, for people who will come back and query.

- A review queue of their own, if their product still matches the July 2026 description.

### Where ZeroMark is different

- A summary on every save before you see it, including the quoted post a reaction is about, plus why you kept it.

- One decision per save: done, let go, or snooze for a week. Undo walks the sitting back. The open queue ends on a Zero card.

- Order comes from your own finish rate: what you mark done against what you let go.

- Keeps can leave for Notion, Obsidian, or a file. Stopping payment does not delete what is already read.

- The X connection is read-only. Triage stays inside ZeroMark. Nothing is posted, liked, followed, or removed on X.

### Where ZeroMark falls short

- Not a research corpus you query for years.

- No published Talon-style agent surface. There is no API here.

### Pricing, side by side

Talon: Unknown. The page we used was their roundup, not a pricing table. ZeroMark: Free for your latest 50 saves, no card and no clock. $4.99 a month or $39 a year reads the library your connection returns. A 30-day refund covers the first paid charge. Card payments go through Stripe. Prices change. Check both before you pay.

### Switching, or using both

- Keep Talon if it already does a job you want, such as search, backup, or a digest.

- Connect X on ZeroMark. The connection is read-only, so the list on X stays as it is.

- Clear your latest saves on the free plan. Decide each one: done, let go, or snooze for a week.

- Send keeps to Notion, Obsidian, or a file. Nothing on X is deleted by ZeroMark.

### Who should pick which

Find it again, or be done with it. If you need both, keep a research set in Talon and clear the rest here.

### Questions people ask

#### What did we actually read?

Talon's roundup of bookmark managers, which they dated 14 July 2026, plus the product claims on that page. Not a live pricing checkout.

#### What does Talon cost?

Unknown.

#### Does ZeroMark cite saves?

Yes, in Chat. The answer points at the saves it used.

#### Is a review queue the same as zero?

Only if the queue is allowed to end. A review you reopen forever is still a library.

#### Can I use both?

Yes.
