vs X Bookmarks

## The list keeps your bookmarks. It never asks again.

In May 2026 X put Bookmarks under a History tab, beside Likes, Videos and Articles, starting on iOS. The list is still the list: no summary, no open-versus-done, no count of what you have not read. Folders exist on paid X tiers. The built-in list is the right tool until the day you want a finish line.

Stay with X Bookmarks if you have a short list, or you already reopen what you save. Add ZeroMark when you want each save read for you and a count that ends. You do not switch. You keep bookmarking on X, and ZeroMark reads them read-only. ZeroMark does not need X Premium.

We make ZeroMark. Every fact about X Bookmarks below comes from their own site, checked 17 October 2026, and linked in Sources. If we have a fact wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

### What X Bookmarks does better

- No setup. The list is where you already saved the post.

- It is free.

- It is on every device X ships, without a second app.

### Where ZeroMark is different

- A summary on every save before you see it, including the quoted post a reaction is about, plus why you kept it.

- One decision per save: done, let go, or snooze for a week. Undo walks the sitting back. The open queue ends on a Zero card.

- Order comes from your own finish rate: what you mark done against what you let go.

- Keeps can leave for Notion, Obsidian, or a file. Stopping payment does not delete what is already read.

- The X connection is read-only. Triage stays inside ZeroMark. Nothing is posted, liked, followed, or removed on X.

### Where ZeroMark falls short

- Another place to open.

- A web app, not a store app. Sync needs a connection.

- It does not replace folders, search, or Clear all inside X.

### Pricing, side by side

X Bookmarks: The bookmark list itself is free. Folders are on paid X tiers. Which tier, and the price, we did not verify against X Help, so this page does not name one. ZeroMark: Free for your latest 50 saves, no card and no clock. $4.99 a month or $39 a year reads the library your connection returns. A 30-day refund covers the first paid charge. Card payments go through Stripe. Prices change. Check both before you pay.

### Switching, or using both

- Nothing to migrate. Keep saving on X.

- Connect X here. Read-only.

- Decide the latest saves on the free plan.

- If you still want them gone from X itself, that is a separate step inside X or a deletion tool. ZeroMark will not do it.

### Who should pick which

Under a few dozen saves, or if you already read what you save, the built-in list is enough. Past that, the list has no done state. That is the gap ZeroMark is for.

### Questions people ask

#### Where did my X bookmarks go?

Under History, with Likes, Videos and Articles. TechCrunch reported the tab on 13 May 2026, iOS first, with a staggered rollout.

#### Do I need Premium for folders?

Folders are a paid X feature. The exact tier was not verified on X Help for this page, so we do not name a price. ZeroMark does not use those folders and does not need Premium.

#### Is there a limit?

People report that X stops surfacing older bookmarks well before the list is actually empty. Our guide calls that community-observed, not an official cap. Link: the limit guide.

#### Can I export?

Not from X. The official archive excludes bookmarks. ZeroMark exports what it has read, to Notion, Obsidian, or a file.

#### Can I clear all at once?

Some app versions show Clear all Bookmarks. Others do not. Sources disagree, so treat it as version-dependent. Clearing on X is permanent.

#### Does ZeroMark need X Premium?

No. A normal X account and a read-only connection are enough.

#### Does ZeroMark delete bookmarks on X?

No. Done, let go, and snooze change the queue here. Your X account stays as it was.
