vs Sigilla
Sigilla calls itself a calm source library for serious readers. You save an article, a PDF, a newsletter or a video, highlight the passage you may use, and it stays tied to its URL, author and saved date. An optional review loop, built on the SM-2 spaced repetition schedule, asks you to rate a source from one to five stars and brings the useful ones back at spaced intervals. Its own line is "Keep less." We agree with that line. Sigilla keeps less by saving passages. ZeroMark keeps less by deciding every bookmark until the open count reads zero.
Pick Sigilla if you read to write: highlights with their source attached, citation-ready output, Pocket and Instapaper imports, and a review schedule for what you mean to remember. It does that better than we do, and its free plan saves unlimited articles. Pick ZeroMark if the pile is bookmarks and the win is a shorter list. Whether Sigilla reads bookmarks was not on the pages we read.
We make ZeroMark. Every fact about Sigilla below comes from their own site, checked 3 November 2026, and linked in Sources. If we have a fact wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

If you read to make something, an essay, a brief, a talk, Sigilla is built for that, and a review schedule is its way of keeping what matters.
